Yes, we offer a free trial class for all new students. Trying a class is the perfect way to help your dancer find a style they love and ensure our studio is the right fit for your family.
Our studio lobby opens at 3:45 PM.
We welcome you to visit our studio during our main operating hours, which are Monday through Thursday from 3:45 PM to 7:00 PM. If these times do not work for your schedule, please contact us to arrange a visit.
No jeans and no jewelry that is loose/dangling/distracting.
Hair should be pulled back and well secured out of the face.
Teachers must be able to see the dancer’s body outline clearly in order to make proper corrections on posture, alignment, etc.
General Dress Code Policy
Proper dance attire is essential for a safe and effective class. Our dress code ensures our instructors can clearly see a dancer’s body outline to make important corrections on posture and alignment. The following rules apply to all classes at Apex Dance Studio.
Attire for all ballet classes includes a leotard, ballet tights, and pink ballet shoes. Short dance skirts are also permitted.
Our ballet program uses a color-coded leotard system for each class level. Please find your dancer’s class level below to ensure they have the correct attire:
- Sprouts: Pink
- Poppies: Lilac
- Tiger Lilies: Baby Blue
- Tulips: Teal
- Daisies: Navy Blue
- Roses: Black
For Jazz class, dancers should wear a fitted top or leotard with dance shorts or leggings. The required footwear is tan, slip-on jazz shoes.
For Hip-Hop classes, dancers should wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of movement, such as a t-shirt with sweatpants, shorts, or leggings.
The required footwear is a pair of clean sneakers intended for indoor use only. For safety, no open-toed shoes are permitted.
For Contemporary class, dancers should wear a fitted top or leotard with dance shorts or leggings. The required footwear is leather half-sole lyrical shoes.
For Tap class, dancers should wear a fitted top with dance shorts, leggings, or joggers. The required footwear is black tap shoes.
